Bit of a long shot but wondering whether anyone on here may know....
I'd asked for whole blood selenium to be tested on a couple of my ponies, but the results have come back, and the lab tested GSH-px instead of whole blood.
(I'd never heard of GSH-px before today, but now know it's an enzyme called glutathione peroxidase, which contains selenium. And whilst it can give an indication of selenium, it is not the same as whole blood selenium.)
Just wondered if anyone knows of a lab in the UK which still does whole blood selenium testing, please?
