I work part time with horses self employed and have all the insurance in the world to protect the public, the owners, and their horses but have recently reviewed my insurance document and it doesn't cover me if I get hurt!
Working with other peoples horses can be very risky at times and I want to make sure that if (hopefully not!) I ever did get hurt and couldn't work for a while that I would get some form of compensation.
As far as I'm aware you cannot calim off the owners general insurance (if they have any) if you are providing a service that they are paying for?
Can anyone recommend a company that covers the person working with the horse against unjury not just against public liability and legal cover like mine?
