Thought the last bit would grab your attention. Isn't it LOVELY when vets give you good instead of bad news...?
To summarise, PF has been just slightly lame for a while since supposedly kicking merry hell in the trailer. First vet (whom F nabbed when she was taking blood for another horse, not knowing I'd already called mine) said cold hose, etc, but although she did get better, was still not 100% (and vids to prove it)
Anyhow, MY vet came to the yard today and he says unlevelness is deffo in PF's foot, not back/sacroilliac area, hock OR fetlock. Only part of her hoof is weightbearing thanks to nice chunk she took out (suggests farrier fill/pad that area), and that coupled with her wonky pelvis make her look sorer than she actually is. In fact, she's only unlevel on a circle and he was baffled at first what I was on about when Luis trotted her up in a straight line (I arrived a wee bit later)
Sooooo! That was very good news, whole visit and very through examination cost me all of 5 pounds *smug grin*

Excellent news PF! I am so pleased for you and PF.

Really happy to hear that PF will be on the mend shortly.

Hmm, not sure that my Vet's wife would be too happy if I wanted to kiss him, she's always with him.

That's brilliant news, as I know you have been worried for a while. You will see a difference once the farrier has done his patching up, and PF will feel loads better.
