Selfish?

So, i tried on THE nicest caldene tweed jacket on saturday. it is £135 and i have £135 at the moment, exactly no give or take.

I REALLY want it and i could get it because i NEVER treat myself because theres aways something to be getting for the horses.

Well Comet wasnt rugged with his old owners because he was turned away after backing last winter.So obviousley didnt come with anyrugs, but because i'm planning on keeping him fit through winter i dont want him fluffy and will rug him for sure.. I've alreaddy got him a lightweight rug and he's the same size as Capella, who has 2 of everything. So he can borrow her stuff.

Do i go and get comet his own anyway and forget the jacket?
or go for it with the new jacket because i've had mine for 4 years(and seasons of hunting)

get the jacket. your horse won't care if his rugs are new or 2nd hand and by even asking the question, you've proved you're not a selfish person

If Capella's rugs fit and are comfortable for him, what's the problem? You'd probably want to have a spare rug each just for convenience, but you don't need them right now, so just get those with your next stash of cash.

You will regret it of you dont, it will last ages. Im sure the horses will cope sharing rugs etc so go for it.
