Did anyone see this in the Racing Post yesterday - Selhurstpark Flyer died at the age of 32 - he first ran as a 2 year, then retired from racing aged 9 afer winning his own named race at Epsom in July 2000. Then lived at his owner's stud until they sold up when moved to a live with a friend of their's. He won back to back Wokingham handicaps and ran 64 times. He certainly had a very long retirement and it sounds like he was quite a character.
