I like to look at the web page horse ads. I'm not really in the market at present, but it's nice to see trends and what is available.

It is obvious from the number of horses for sale that the market for selling is poor at the moment. I guess a lot of leisure industries are suffering as people get careful with their cash, but why do horse sellers try to apply pressure with the same old line of 'moving house / emigrating'?

If you want a fast sale, say so, or just price competitively.

I accept the 'going to Uni' ads, that's fair enough, all the others just look bogus!

i recently put this on my ad (although its only to the right home)i priced her competitively but then people said she looked too cheap and must have something wrong with her.Rubbish - its just i have a toddler and our own business and i have just had to go back to work full time. guess i am one of the few honest ones!!! lol!! actually got fed up with the nonsense, as you said the market is hard so have put my horse on livery, got someone to school her and going to try again later in the year once shes fit and out competing, for more money of course!!!
