Well actually I have 2 to sell! Where have you managed to sell your saddles and did you get the price you were looking for? I've never sold on ebay... do they take a big cut based on the price of the item sold? If the person collects the saddle would you allow them to try it on the horse before payment, or is payment upfront? Sorry about the dumb questions!!!

If you put it on ebay and someone was local to you wanted to try before bidding i would be quite happy with that.Yes if they pay by paypal then a fee will be taken off of you.i think it's 8 % but i'm not totally sure of the amount. So the more the saddle sells for the more you will lose to paypal.I would take cash on collection if they have or have not tried the saddle on their horse.

E-bay charge an initial listing fee plus a commission fee if the item sells, the amount of this depends on the final price. I sold two saddles on ebay, but learned the hard way to put UK only as one went to New South Wales and the customs rigmarole was a nightmare!

Thanks for the advice. I think I will start off on the BD website and see what happens. So annoying as I need to pay for a new one asap!
