I have a good make second hand dressage saddle worth over 1k to sell. I have advertised on FB and Twitter but probably need to formally advertise. Where would people recommend? Horsequest? Am I better waiting another month or doing it now?

I had no joy with the BD website but recently sold decent dressage and and jumping saddles via preloved. After a couple of stupid offers I had a decent money offered for both. I tried the FB route but I don't think decent stuff sells that way. I found our new jump saddle as a private sale on Saddles Direct.

I've just sold a jumping saddle in a similar price bracket on Preloved. Took a while, and didn't have loads of interest, but when the right person came along they were happy to pay what I wanted. I think as there are a lot of low priced saddles on Preloved, unless somebody is looking for the specific saddle you are selling, you don't get loads of enquiries (if you see my logic!). But those you do get tend to be serious buyers in my experience.
