Selling a horse - advice

Where is the best place to advertise a steady RC allrounder/happy hacker? Not a competition winner but still a quality animal. I am looking for a forever home, as he's 13, he is not suitable for a novice and has a couple of melanomas so I need the right type of person...
I tried preloved and horsehunter but no luck there. Is H&H more for competition prospects?

Try www.projecthorses.co.uk - it's specially meant for horses with quirks - be it physical (like melanomas) or mental.

Actually we have found H&H a very good place to advertise and worth the money for the under £5k horses, you get 2 weeks in the magazines and 4 online. As for the melanomas, I would not put that in an ad but tell people when you talk to them. Would also, if possible have something like a vet letter or similiar so people can get a first view of what the implications are. Granted they need to get their own vetting but it might help get over the first hurdle.

I second horse and hound online and mag ad for less expensive horses.

The pony club website generated lots of phone calls too.
