Selling a horse quickly

I have had my mare advertised for a good 8months now, had a few people out to see her but no joy.
Started off being pretty easy going, part loan, loan or sale but I am getting to the point where I really can't afford her anymore. I have reduced the price dramatically but I really want her to go to a good home.
Would hate for her to go to a dealers etc.

Shes up in all the local tack shops, ad trader, word of mouth and advertised at the yard.

Any ideas?

Have you advertised on Horsemart? I have always sold mine quickly through them are reasonably priced to advertise with.

Unfortunatley the market is not good at the moment due to peoples finances, or lack of, but at least you are coming into spring so people may start to look again.

Thank you! Will give it a try, yeah I'm hoping the nicer weather brings more people out. Gutted about her having to go but problems with my job etc. means I have no other options.

Why don't you try flyering other local yards? I almost bought a horse this way except it failed a vetting

If you are sure that you want her to go, put her on all the free or very cheap sites.
Lots of people browse these and if your price is reasonable, you never know someone might be tempted - you can vet the home just as you would if you paid a lot for the ad.
