Selling a saddle - best way to recieve money and best sites to use to sell it?

Hi,

I've got a saddle to sell but i'm wondering what the best way to recieve money is if I sell it privately? I'm hoping to sell it locally (Scotads/gumtree/local saddler's/) as it means I could do cash in hand which would be easier. If that's not an option, I have a paypal account so do I use this or do I take cheques and wait for them to clear before I send it or let them collect it? I was going to use ebay (as I bought the saddle off there) but after some of your horror stories i've decided against it! What other sites do lovely people use to sell saddles, I know about preloved but that's it!

Thanks for your replies. I had a look on the sites and there exactly what i'm looking for but with your positive ebay experience i'm swaying towards that again!
