Trying to offload my old saddle but no one is seeming interested on facebook so I've put it down to my local tack shop to sell for a commission for now but again no one is interested.

The other option would be to give it to a local saddler to sell on again for a commision so do you think this would be the better option or should I just leave it where it is?

I have previously sold a saddle through a local saddle fitter, and found because they were out at numerous fittings throughout the day that the saddle sold relatively fast, I have a jump saddle I will soon be selling via Stirlingshire Saddle fitters come summer as I am not having much interest in it while at uni.

Hi, sorry to hijack but I will be interested in any responses to this thread as I will be selling my saddle in the next few weeks and am trying to figure out the best way of advertising/ selling it.

saddles just don't seem to be selling. Ebay ones take ages to sell. It could just be the time of year ?

I was thinking it's not the best time of year to be selling but as ever the extra cash would come in extremely handy ha ha!

eBay and preloved

I'm not a preloved member, I know ebay saddles are going for pittance and I would worry it would get damaged in transit (apart from the fact I am useless with ebay and have no idea how to set a reserve price for something) so have avoided selling through ebay :/

I think I'll pass it over to the saddler and see if she has better luck.
