My friend has a 4 year old dark bay TB Mare I think now just on 16 hh which he bred She has been well handled, lunged been on walker and will make a very nice lady's' or young person's horse. Very well put together and extremely
attractive. She is by Josr Algarhoud (Ire). Born 18 Feb 2004. He is looking for around £2500- dont have any pictures-sorry

He is far too big to break her himself and so put her on Project Horses but only had one reply- any ideas of where else he could try?If only she was a gelding then i would have her.

why on earth did he put her on project horses

why not a regular site..horsemart/horsequest etc???

is there a problem with her??

Exactly. Put her on a normal site and I'm sure she will be snapped up.

JM07 & Arwen- She was put on Project horses because of her age- its not my horse but i am not aware of any problems other than her lack of ridden education.
I have already advised him to put her on Horsemart- just wondered if there were any other sites that would be especially suitable for a youngster?

Um, horsemart, Horsequest, Horse Deals, H & H, Horse select. Pretty much anything but Project Horses tbh.

Good luck!

I wouldn't consider a 4 year old anymore of a project that a 3 yr old. Surely many are broken at 4 to allow more time to mature?
Go with Horsemart I reckon

Why wouldn't you buy her just cos she's a mare.
I personally wouldn't buy a gelding cos if they break there seless.
Looks a nice mare and cheap too.

People seem to be either one or the other! Im a gelding fan as well, and would very rarely choose a mare because they can be more difficult especially when in season. With geldings, they're the same mood all the time!

What everyone else said...i wouldn't be put off buying an un-broken 4 year old. At 3 mine are only sat on, hacked about a little bit then turned away, the real work doesnt start until they are at least 4. 4 year olds are still very much babies in my eyes. So yeah, i'd put her on horsemart or some that the others have suggested...deffinately not project horses.
