Anybody had any success selling their horsey items as a job lot?
I’ve got a bunch of stuff I just want rid of. Rugs, bits, travel boots etc - I really can’t be bothered to list it all individually!
Usually I would have just taken it all to Catlips and swapped it for stuff I could use but I don’t believe it’s open anymore since Sheila’s passing.

My friend sold a massive amount of stuff (sanctuary donations) to a woman that happened to be setting up a rug laundry and repair business. A lot of it was unsellable as it was through dirt and damage but she will definitely make something out of some of it. It took a long time to find that person though. You just have to be prepared to take a big financial hit on what you could get otherwise.

Yeah I’m prepared to take a hit on the money. I just want rid! If it doesn’t go I’ll try donating it to charity I think

Some people buy job lots then sell the items individually online at a profit around here. I know of a few women who do this to supplement their income.
Yeah I think I’ll pop a post on Facebook and see if anybody would be interested in doing that!

Love a good job lot. Trick is to have everything clean, displayed neatly and list as descriptively as possible using brands and sizes.

I recently sold a job lot of rugs and I had people trying to offer me more than I was asking just so they could secure them for themselves.
