Selling geldings with a covering!???

Not sure if this is a great offer, or a very dumb scam but apparently a stud near High Offley in Staffordshire is selling all their GELDINGS with a free covering by one of their stallions!!!

Would love to know if anyone has ever bought a gelding from them and tried to take them up on this???? And what was the result??

It’s got to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard!!

surely the covering is for a mare of your chosing not the gelding

Hehe, I was at work the other day, holding a 3 year old gelding in the yard, just about to get on it, when a stallion escaped then tried to cover the horse I was holding, I just managed to get the stallion off it before he had been covered, but he is for sale, so I suppose he comes with a free covering!

Not sure if it's advertised, apparently the stud owner stated this under oath in court... Don't think even the judge believed it...

Don't know what's more amazing, the fact that this particular stud makes outrageous claims like this or the fact that there are people who would actually fall for this!!

Doesn't it mean a free covering for one of your other (female) horses? That is how I would read it!
