Well...my new career needs a bigger car than my stupid little yaris. so we're going to get a 4x4. and it seems daft having a lorry when my reason for buying one was i didn't want to run a 4x4 as my everyday car...
so... we're going to sell Darling Katie. and buy a 4x4 and trailer.
advice needed...
selling katie:
-she has 2 months plating left. do you think i should get 12months plating on her to sell her? or will people buy with 2 months? she's only done about 500 miles since her last one that she flew through, so i can't imagine there'll be any problems... but you never know i guess?
-where's the best (free/cheap) place to sell? is ebay okay? do people get decent prices on there?
-she was a 5tonne box, but has been 'uprated' to 7.5tonnes. so bascially she is the size of a 5tonne one but has strengthened things (suspension, air brakes etc) that mean she can carry payload that takes her up to 7.5 tonnes (thats LOTS of payload!)... now, do i advertise her as 7.5 tonne? or as a 5tonne? i just think 7.5 sounds like a huge lorry, but she's really compact.
buying 4x4:
looked at lots today. i wanted to like the kia sorrento best cos i hear so many good things on here... but i ended up liking an Isuzu Rodeo Denver thing. has anyone got one? are they okay? i think it was because the salesman said i could have company logo sewn into the seats...
cottage cheese and spicy sausage for anyone who gets this far (i'm on low carb diet, it sucks...).
