I am, sadly after only 2 years selling my horse. Unfortunately I bought him with all his tack and food in fact everything you could need! The chances of me being able to sell him on again like this are rare, so the question is how do I find out how much he's worth on his own.? He's a Welsh cob, 14.2 and 17years old. Any ideas anybody?

Hello and welcome

If you give us abit more information about what he can do, competition results, does he jump? hack nicely alone and in company? Good to catch, box, shoe? Suitable of a novice? Bombproof?

A photo might also help us to give you a rough price...

At his age I would say 2k max, if he is a bomproof safe hack who can pop round a small showjumping course and do a sensible dressage test. Otherwise less than that.

Sorry for only just replying to your answer about horse prices. info in Copper. Ive never jumped him and neither did his previous owner but can't say before that, sorry. Good on roads. Does need a firm hand, or you'll do more exercise than him! Good natured and will do anything for food.

Sorry for just getting back to you about my horse. Info on Copper, Needs a firm hand with everything from catching to riding. No probs with shoeing although he will lean on you if you let him. I've never jumped him and neither did the previous owner that I know of. Never had him in a box but will do most things for food!! Ok on roads. He has been riden by a more experienced rider and she was impressed. Being only a novice I can't yet get that response.

He He, can't you tell I'm new to this, didn't notice that my posting went on screen! Never mind Big group Thank you to everyone who replied
