Selling rugs

When is the best time to sell them? My darling mare decided to out grow her entire wardrobe

I tried selling them a couple of months ago (when I start thinking about winter clothes

) but no one rung up about them

I *tactically* sold my old horses rugs in the Autumn last year and did well from it.

Shall be doing the same again this year as Be has matured so much that she has outgrown hers.

I just sold all my spare / old rugs in the last couple of weeks - must be with the weather changing that folks are starting to think about it more!

There were a few people on here yesterday looking for the best places to buy rugs..........I personally am looking for 5ft 6" turnout rugs to fit arabs.........

looking on all the sites I have been advised and e-bay but they are still quite expensive - I am not keen to spend a fortune as a) he is only a baby and bound to outgrow them in a blink of an eye and b) he could be a rug recker...LOL

I bought them all when my mare measured 5ft2

coz I thought she'd grow into them. The cow stopped growing at 6ft so she had a new wardrobe then decided to grow another 3 inches

She gets a cold bum now
