If you put them on ebay then I think people expect them to be clean, and given that it can cost up to £20 to get a rug cleaned and reproofed, it would need to be a top brand to be worth it from your point of view.
If you can sell them to friends (and HHOers!) then I think it's best not to clean them as it wrecks the waterproofing.
Can you PM me what you've got? I think a lot of us on here are looking for that size.

I have some rugs that I'm going to need to sell shortly - a couple of them are dirty - is it worth getting them cleaned before I sell them?
Opinions??

I would definitely expect them to be clean. Not for one moment suggesting yours are like it, but the previous wearer could have had lice ar some sort of transferable skin condition etc . If you don't want to get them washed/cleaned before selling then that should be reflected in a lower price as buyer would (I hope) want to get them cleaned before using them on their horse.
they go for less money dirty, but obviously you need to weigh up how much it will cost you to have them cleaned.
If they are filthy, they fetch very little, grubby isnt too bad.
Id buy a grubby rug, but not a filthy one.
