Anyone had any success selling a saddle anywhere other than ebay?
Sadly I have come to the conclusion that my daughter just isn't going to get used to the Wow saddle so I need to sell it to buy another one. I really hate selling on ebay as I have had a bad experience and also I think their charges have become outrageous!
I found horsemart have a tack section but does anyone look there? Where would you look if you wanted to buy a secondhand saddle?(I always look at ebay first LOL!!)

Thanks for any help.

John at Parnaby's in malton will part ex saddles and also lets you borrow second hand ones to try out. Thats where i go if i need a second hand saddle. x

Fox saddlers in Wetherby will sell saddles for you and take commission. Not sure how much they take but you give them the saddle and they sort it all out for you with no hassle. Sold two of mine that way and was pleased. Recommended a friend to do same and she was pleased aswell due to no hassle etc.

That's a good idea Ladybones, I will give him a call. Do you know if he stocks the bates caprilli range?
Not sure I would get my money back though as I paid more for the Wow than I can get a brand new caprilli for!

Ooops, thanks Budgie too, Keith from Fox actually fitted the saddle for us, I suppose it could be worth giving him a call too. I just don't want to lose money on it, we only had it a month!

Thanks, had a look, seems ok for £10. Do they get many viewing through there? Have you had any interest?
I don't want to accept less (yet) as I know the Wows are sought after...I had enough trouble getting one secondhand!

Didn't even know you could sell saddles on H&H till I looked....I'm guessing it won't be the most popular spot to look?
Good website Zoon, I wonder how you can make it easy for people to find?
