Where does everybody sell their saddles. I have a decent Albion event saddle that should fetch a good price - would ebay be appropriate with a reserve? Do more expensive saddles sell well on there? Any advice? I bought it new less than a year ago and don't want to sell it too cheaply.

I sold a Bates Caprilli one on there but didn't get that brilliant a price for it. However, the well known quality makes like Jaguar, Albion and Amerigo seem to go for good prices - although they are a lot less than the new cost.

You could also try advertising on www.equineadvertiser.co.uk in the tack section which is free. I have sold quote a lot of items hon there and acheived good prices, but nothing of such high value.

Would you be able to part exchange it, as saddlers seem to give better prices when you buy a new one?

Its an Albion Kontact Saddle. So basically single flap close contact although you can move the blocks to fit your leg. I have to admit I have never really liked it but eberybody else who sits in it loves it.

No I wasn't able to part exchange unfortunatly but do need to sell for a good price. Will maybe try an advert equine advertiser. Thanks

I just sold a saddle on e bay which I bought new in March - and got less than half the price I paid for it!! Unfortunately it hit the reserve so I had to sell it.
