I have an almost new albion kontrol saddle to sell, the only problem it's got is that where it's been stored the flocking has settled. Otherwise it's in mint condition and as a result I don't want to sell it at a bargain price. It was bought for £1200 18 months ago, used a handful of times and gathering dust for over six months. I have tried listing it on ebay on several occasions to get no takers - lots of people asking questions and interest but nobody bidding. Are people just expecting to get saddles for nothing at the moment and is this a recession type thing? Or have I just been unlucky?

Where else can I think about advertising it?

ebay = wanting everything for cheap no matter what it is sadly.

Have you tried your local saddler, they tend to give a better price, or if your looking for another you could part ex it?

What sort of price are you hoping for? E-bay is hit and miss IMO sometimes you will be lucky and get insane bidders who bid over what an items worth but usually they want something for nothing.

Thanks at least I know it's not just me... If it was a case of it being an old saddle I wouldn't care, but I do object to seeling it well under it's value. I'll give my new saddler a call as I need to change it and see if they'll take part-ex.
