Does anyone know where is the best place to sell my two saddles - working hunter and dressage? All the tack shops near me have stopped taking any to sell as too full and I don't think I'd get a decent amount on ebay as there aren't many decent saddles that seem to get a reasonable price. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I can't afford a new one until these are shifted :(

I got a price from Saddlesdirect.co.uk, tried my luck on ebay with the starting price as their price (with the intention that if they didn't sell I'd then sell them to saddles direct) and sold both for a fair bit more than they would have given me.

I suppose it depends how desperate you are to get rid and how much you are willing to accept.

I put mine on saddles direct, the British Dressage website classifieds and a local equestrian website. Sold it off the local website in 2 weeks. :)

I have just sold 2 x saddles on Horsequest and it cost me just £10.00 for each listing! One of them a GP had been for sale in our local saddlery for 6mths. They were both good secondhand saddles and each sold for around the £500 mark so I am delighted.
