Selling specialist saddles, is there a market?! (also in cr)

Hi,

I have an ideal showing saddle, no knee rolls, 2 tone brown leather, a real 'show' saddle. Its no use for general use without the knee rolls but really does emphasise a horses build in the show ring.

I got this saddle when I bought my horse 8 years ago and after a short period of use purchased a GP saddle and it was only used on the odd occasion for a show or borrowed by a friend for a show with there horse.

I tried to sell this saddle about 4 years ago with a local saddler and after a year he was unable to budge it as it was ' only suitable for too small a market'. Its now just taking up room in my shed, it still is in fab condition and really is a beautiful little saddle just no real use for me.

This brings me to my question... Where can I sell such a specialist saddle?

Showing forums - Horsegossip for example. Many showing saddles are bought new mail order and not so much from fitters, and that is true of second hand as well.
