Where is the cheapest place to buy a semen storage tank for keeping frozen semen?

Hi Heinrich, not planning on storing in large quantities not sure how many straws you can fit into the tanks

You need to find out who the closest nitrogen distributor is to you as they probably sell tanks and will service your nitro tank once you get it. The nitrogen needs topping up a few times a year, I have my tank topped up every 6 weeks. My advice is don't buy a tank that is too big for what you want but also make sure it will be big enough to store your semen. I previously had a tank that held 2,500 doses, that's much more semen than I store so I sold that tank and bought a small one which holds 200 doses. With the big ones you spend much more on nitrogen if you don't keep it full of semen doses so it's not cost effective to have a tank which is more than you require. I don't know which company would service your tank but I see you're in Scotland so I ran a google search and found this stud farm who does frozen AI so perhaps you could contact them and ask if they have any used tanks they'd like to sell and also who services their tanks.
