I am looking to get a dressage saddle for my 5 yr old mare next spring and my horse physio recommended semi flex saddles. I am after a deep seated dressage saddle with good knee rolls as she is 16.3 and although i am 5ft9 i am slim build at prob 8.5 stone. she has big powerful trot and large shoulders.

does anyone have one, can they be adjusted if she changes shape etc and can anyone send me a picture etc.

Not the brand you mentioned but soft treed, flex with the horses movement and soft treed so nothing to pinch as her muscles develop :) Come with lovely leather knee rolls too.

Barrie swain makes them. I have jumping semi flex and full flex dressage. The semi flex can be adjusted. Google Barrie swain and semi flex you will get his website and companies that sell them. Now about£1900

They're lovely back friendly saddle and can be adjusted tree wise to a certain extent. If I had a young horse it would be only type of saddle I would buy. I favour Lauriche saddles which are no longer available but very much out of the same stable. I'm currently having a 25 year old Lauriche re-engineered by Barrie's workshops after a Kay Humphries fitting yesterday.
