I don't know too much about the RSPCA but if they are a charity then surely it is up to them how they spend the money that has been given to them?
If you don't like what they do then stop donating to them. Simples.
I'm not sure what powers they have been given.
I expect they are a bit like tv licensing - no actual powers but can work with the police to ensure laws are adhered to? Or can an RSPCA inspector just turn up to premises and take animals away?
I guess they are the eyes and ears for the police. The courts are the ones who decide if any crime has been committed I would have thought.
Lots of people must like what they do otherwise they wouldn't be given so much money.
