What's the best way to go about sending a saddle to Canada?

I've always sent saddles via royal mail within the UK.

Buyer (ebay) is willing to pay the extra but I dond't want to cost them a fortune.

Suggestions of companies that would do it, than an idiots 'how to' guide would be much appreiciated thanks!

Your best bet would be to go and ask your Post Office people. I think mine went via Parcel Post.

Fed Ex or UPS are the two that come to mind immediately, both of which deliver to Canada.

Thanks.

How much do you think it'd cost via Royal Mail/parcel force? I have absoultly no idea. That's be the easist for me. And is that airmail rather than by sea - the buyer would prefer airmail, even though it'll be more expensive, as groundmail takes soooooo long.

How do couriers work? Do you drop it of? Do they come and collect it?

parcel2go - I've used them a couple of times for saddles, inc one I sent to USA. Very helpful and you can track the item all the way. I think they were pretty competitively priced and you can talk to someone there for advice. They arranged collection from me.
Just need a suitable sized box, not too big and plenty of bubble wrap.

Good luck!
