Sending horses away for schooling?

Can anybody tell me what the going rate is for schooling livery around the east midlands area? and recommend any places to go?

Its varies! I'm Northampton/MK and paid £80 a week when I sent mine away. Normally I'd have been worried at the low cost, but it was a friend doing the work and I trust her, so it was fine. I think theres a few people in this sort of area charging around the £100 mark. Which is madness as you cant usually get full livery for that!

That sounds really cheap! The lowest I've seen is £110 per week. I'm not sure if to send him for a good 4 weeks or just for a week after I've started the work so they can finish off the bits I'm not experienced enough to perfect.

Essex & Kent the rate tends to be £150 - £200 per week

I sent mine away for showing livery and it was £160 a week in Kent.
