Where was that post was it the competition bit?

How much is it roughly per week?

Anyone know of any places in Kent?

Am fed up with battling with Blue and if i can save enough it may be an option.

Before you all jump on me i know it won't solve things but it would help me and i'd have to have regular lessons after for it to have any effect.

Sent Monty away after he reared and fell backwards on me as I just had no idea where to go from there. He went to a local dressage rider who was recommended to me. That was £150 per week and she did a fab job! He had improved so much after being there for 4 weeks and now she comes and gives me lessons on him.
I think the best thing to do is ask around and see who people recommend

There's no stigma in sending horses for training. Or at least there shouldn't be, at least you've got the guts to hold your hands up and ask for help instend of getting knowhere. My horse is away at the moment as I'm due to give birth in 2 weeks. He's more SJ than Dressage but the trainer competes at both SJ and Eventing so shoupld be good at it all really. He carges £130/week all in which I thought was pretty good considering. He's a bit far from you though, located in Cheshire. If you find a trainer ask people in the area if thay know them though to check them out and possible get recommendations as you do hear some horror stories. I phoned the dsealer I bought my horse feom to check out the trainer I'd found and she said he was fine but there were plently that she would strongly recommend NOT using!! She wouldn't tell me which though unless I named them first.

Agree with what another poster said in that you should be commended for seeking help if you have hit a wall! I dont understand how people can be so reluctant to turn to professionals.

Anyway! My trainer in the UK used to take in horses on schooling livery. She charged £800 a month for her to ride them 4 times a week (list 2 dressage rider) and have them there on full livery. It was pricey for sure but she was excellent.

Cant advise on the area though im afraid

Can't afford to send him anywhere right now but might be able to convince someone to help me out with it as a Christmas present maybe
