Ground is usually on the firm side there, but hopefully they have done lots of prep, they closed the course 7 weeks ago.

Im doing the PAVO 5yr old (PN) so not sure what day that will be

Please be careful on the ground - its generally bare clay so it rides extremely hard.... if its not forecast to rain - consider gel pads in your shoes.

*edited to say - sorry - didnt realise the other girls had said the same - just read your post and panicked! I think you get our drift though! We lost a whole season after 5 minutes in the SJ collecting ring. Its our very nearest venue so we go often but its rarely good going*

oh dear...i have entered the OPN...is the ground awful then?? My horse is 15 and needs a bit of TLC....Dont think its going to rain much between now and then.... Will they agrevate the ground??
