Designer Puppies (yes that's what they're calling them in the advert) Merle Chihuahua x Pug: http://www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-adverts.showadvert/index-1033173021/c3a1206c.html
My particular favourite (if only because the name reminds me of a non-pc playground rhyme from my childhood: the Westienese: http://www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-adverts.showadvert/index-1033173249/b3f637e2.html

Gahhh can't you tell christmas is coming

I really don't know why I click the links, thats my blood pressure sky high.
Had a good one on an email update from GSD rescue yesterday, would be adopters wanted a young GSD but as the dog would be left for 6 hours each day it was suggested they considered an older dog of around 4 years. They came back to the rescue saying not to worry, they didn't want a GSD anymore as they had taken on a 15 month old Akita.

Is it monthly numpty roundup time again?

For sale is my Alsation. He is a great boy and it is a shame to see him go however I already have 3 others so it's time to down size.
He is a Full Pedigree and is a sable colour. He is 9 Months old and a good loving home is essential for him.

Price: £350 no offers

Emphasis mine.

I bet someone's made a packet out of her, and now they want rid. :(

Hmm. my first thought on seeing that pic was that it ain't a 9 month pup, and agree CC does look familiar:rolleyes: Have you got a link to the actual advert BC, might do a bit of digging. The rottie one really takes the biscuit doesn't it, poor pup.

LORD ABOVE!!!!!!!

Those pug/chihuahua things are the ugliest pups I have seen. WHAT on earth is that Chihuahua like?! Bozzeyed ain't the word.

Go, GSD mafia! :p

The rottie one breaks my heart, I bet the poor sod peed on the carpet one too many times and they've decided it's too much hard work.

Designer chi x pug - "Also have pedigree chihuahuas available, including merles. Please see other advert, they will be ready christmas week."

Just gone to all the trouble of registering with preloved and and they now want £5 from me to respond to the advert. Sod that, apparently can do it free when the ad is no longer "new" so hopefully he will still be available then.

Ooh yes please, you could say you have a friend who might be interested, ask for pedigree details if you can, names of mum and dad and ideally the breeders name. Perhaps ask if he has had any training so it sounds a bit more genuine and not just a nosey b***er!

mines a 'sprollie'....

shame i had her spayed.... could have made a killing!!!

joke!!!>...... i dont agree with breeding unless both sire and dam are health tested...

my litle dog has elbow displasia and other various problems...
crossbreeds are NOT always healthier.

Had a quick google and the sable photo is also on http://www.thedogplace.org/breeddetail.asp?BRID=220

So as CC said, stock photo most likely. No credits for photographer/name of dog that I can see at a quick glance.

Edit! stupid me, says quite clearly "Photo Caption: Ajsa Glitch, SCH H II, CGC. A great representative of the Eastern European WORKING German Shepherd, Ajsa works with energy in all phases of Schutzhund, Tracking, Obedience, and Protection. In her SCH 2 Trial she was awarded HIGH SCORE of 97 in protection, almost unheard of with a female."

Hrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! :P

Good spot Pix. I KNEW that was a bitch (Although I have made that mistake before, sorry LucyWheeler :p)

MM/BC, ask him what his MALE dog got in Phases A and B, presumably before the sex change.....

(Load of balls about high scoring females being rare though, I saw a wee bitch with my own eyes getting a 98 in protection last year at national level...)

So the picture is of a very good looking (imo at least) sable bitch, complete with SCH II.

But he wants to sell on a 9mo dog pup, who has most likely never even seen a basic puppy class.

I'm pretty slow, but I smell discrepancies in this advert!

It's probably an 11 year old black and white collie.

No point me even looking, I would take the head/desk to the extreme and probably smash my skull in:o

Or channel that energy into your knitting needles and create a one eyed, 3 legged, 11 yo, b&w collie. With five tails.

You could market it as a limited addition 'preloved dog', make your millions and cruise the world!
