There is definitely a need for pet taxi service....however one question - is it legal to offer a taxi service for people (I know it's for the pet, but you say for You and your pet) without some sort of license? Just wondering about that one. I know someone who was doing that, but I was never brave enough to ask

You need a taxi license and a PSV license to be a taxi driver.

She is just taking them to the vet if needed. She would have gone into all the what ifs and is it allowed

Like I said, I had a friend who was doing this and I thought it was a bit iffy in terms of legality.

I'm sure she would have explored all possibilities, but it's impossible to even know all the questions to ask.

Even after being in business for myself for ten years, I STILL find out stuff that I didn't know I should do.

Indeed your friend might. However, people reading these threads who take advice here might not know the nuances of the law, and in which case it's a valid point.
