I've recently started my feeding my horse settlex as he cribs quite a lot. The cribbing is a bit better but he is noticably cranky. He has been putting his ears back at me and other horses and even tried to kick his fieldmate the other day which he has never done. He also had a pop at a horse at a competition which is very very unlike him. Has anyone else experienced this?? could it just be coincidence?? He is normally a big softy but I'm quite worried as I don't want a kicker on my hands!

It has been suggested that in some cases if a horse suffers from excess acid that a strong antacid could make the reflux worse, (I think i've got that all right) I gave my boy global herbs acid-x and it was much more effective that the settlex.
