well we moved ours to a new yard yesterday,
i tied him up for 15 mins after the journey then loosed him into his paddock and he was good as gold.;)
7am :eek:today we was hacking out and later this afternoon i was schooling him.
you wouldnt have thought he had just moved yards.
just see how your horse settles in.
good luck with the move.

I turned mine straight out, then rode next day - get them straight into routine. I also got a local lady who does aromatherapy to come and offer her some oils - she licked or sniffed the ones she wanted ?(which all turned out to be ones to do with emotional and stress.

My new boy arrived Friday, I left him in the stable for an hour or so and then turned him out. He charged around for a bit and as the ground is still quite hard I brought him back in.

Saturday turned him out, he grazed for about an hour and started charging round again, when he didn't settle I brought him in again, did this about 3 times throughout the day. Turned him out this morning and he was fine, he's been out all day.

Saddlers coming in the morning to fit a new saddle so I'll be out on him tomorrow. :D

I think it's just a case of see how they are when they arrive. :)
