. Hes been on ventiplumin and it doesnt do a thing! hes now on a steriod which helps a little bit but they are now £70 a pot! If any one has a horse with this problem and has found something thats helps please let me know! please dont suggest supplements like breath easy etc im not being rude but they really dont work for him he gets so bad he struggles walking to his field. Thanks!!!

Hi my mare suffers from sweet-itch which lead onto pollen allergy we use the boett mask plus a strip across her muzzle, her face and muzzle swelled up and she had difficulty breathing, kept her in during the windy time when pollen was bad, but her's was mainly oak and silver birch we think but we are surrounded by so many differant trees. but the mask and muzzle strp has helped. Good luck

thanks I may give that a try, I have not had the allergy diagnosed so we don't know exactly what pollens hes allergic too, but the vet was convinced it was something in the grass.

try a product called nostrilvet. google it. its a spray that goes up the horses nostril and lines the inside of the nose, preventing anything from being inhaled. x

I have used nostril vet on my old pony and found it to be very effective for him, so it is worth trying. It is a natural ingredient product I think, I used the human version for my hayfever when I was pregnant.
