So, genius H&Hers, my horse is getting much better at travelling but as he is such a noise reactive soul anyway, i thought i would help him and get a noise deadening fly veil for when he's on the box. I thought securing it would be as simple as sewing some loops across the poll and threading his headcollar through. But one swift shake of his head spun his headcollar and the ears popped off! ?

What can i do to secure it? Welding it to his head has been considered! Ear plugs are a no go as he is very ear sensitive

Would you consider traveling in a fly mask with no ears? You then sew the acoustic veil on the inside of the fly mask and obviously poke the ears through!!

Hmmm Not a bad shout! I could get the lycra style, cut the eyes and ears out and attach it to that.

Problem with just those loops is that it isn’t anchored solidly anywhere.
Can you attach some ribbon to each side and tie it to the side rings of the headcollar?

So i thought of doing this but if the headcollar moves when he shakes his head will they not still fall off?
