You have to love the cheeky little beggars.

Neighbours are on holiday and one of their family members is coming down twice a day to check on little Bobby. He is in the next paddock to mine in a smaller sectioned off area due to a) being laminitic and b) being a bit of a porker

Last night it was dark before we got down to feed ours and I could vaguely see a little white blob moving about where it shouldn't be. The little sod had gone through his electric fencing and was munching happily on the lovely plentiful grass. At that moment the lady looking after him turned up and between her pulling and OH pushing they managed to wrestle him back into his paddock and put up the fencing.

No surprises when I went to mine this morning to find Bobby playing happily with Blue! I left him in our paddock which hasn't got much grass and will text his owner later to see if it is ok to leave him in with mine with a grazing muzzle on - he will only break out of his paddock if we put him back so it makes sense (to me) to leave him with mine until the owners get back off holiday.

Bobby must be good at limbo-ing as the only way into our paddock is under the fence.

Bless! lol

Lol, I think the battery has run down on his fence while the owners are away so it is as dead as a dodo. OH couldn't believe how hard it was to move Bobby - Bobby had dug his heels in and it took ages to make him take just one step forward.

He's rather cute though, so we forgave him

I gave up trying to keep mine on her dirt patch - she is now in with the other two and has her muzzle on. At least it saves the worry as I know she won't try and escape whilst she is with them

We've got one at our yard who was put in one field, then about 5 mins later all I saw were his little legs going 20 to the dozen as he disappeared under each fence until he was in the biggest, grassiest (?) field on the yard, hilarious!

Mine is currently being held in by mains powered electric fencing, but we're moving yards next week... and It'll be back to my little energiser and lots of wishful thinking

Hmmm, I have one too.....
I get a huge lecture from my mum whenever he breaks down the electric fencing - as if it's my fault and I told him to do it?!?!?!
I have provided a grazing muzzle which I shove on at weekends, but she thinks it's mean (I say better than dead - he's just recovered from a frustrating for me Laminitic episode).
He's in at night too, and has a 6 bar gate across his door as he climbs out of stables that have doors low enough to get his head over - he's a monster, and his real name is 'Hooli'gan (but I love him)

They are all related to "Hodini" the well known escape artist. Way back in their breeding he imparted his skills to the little b*ggers and they now all display the same traits!!!!

In fact, these skills have been honed so much, that there could be money to be made on a "Derran Brown" type programme, starring the little so and sos!!!!

Iggle is impossible to move away from food/grass into bare paddock. he plants himself in such a thelwell pose, it's impossible not to laugh... and of course, as you laugh and lose your strength he takes the opportunity to grab more nice grass... luckily (touch wood) he hasn't managed an escape yet... unless he puts himself back in the field when he sees me coming...

My Hector (avatar) has sensitive skin, I can't use many fly sprays on him, he also has a really thin coat, he's part spotty.

But, he can walk straight through electric fencing!!

He wears a muzzle now.
