Does anyone know where i can find info on a TB Stallion called Shaab? I have googled it but not found anything. Would like to find a piccy and some info.

Thanks

He's no longer with us (might be able to do AI, tho not sure) .. but he has a number of VERY successfull offspring!! google Lucy Wiegersma and Shabrak for a start.. also, the only son of Shaab standing at stud, is a lil horse called 'My Eclipse' is sure to be on a website somewhere..
what do you want to know about him, i've ridden enough of his children to know a little bit.

He passed away 3/4 years ago now. Got plenty of good progeny out there but some pretty dodgy ones too (same with any popular stallion I suppose!!)
Shaabrak, Lucy W's Badminton ride is probs one of his best last ones

A pic of Shaabrak for you...

I have been tracing my mares histiry and apparently she had a foal by him (she escaped into his field - sounds a bit weird??) . I was wondering who owned him and where he stood at stud??

We have a TB by Shaab at work. A real sweetie. Evented to Intermediate/advaced level. Still going strong at 19. He's one of my favs.

You forget just how many are actually by him.. Shaab is the Saddlers Wells of the eventing world!!!

Also a little horse Lucy W did Jr/YRs on, Shaaboo, he also went round Badminton!

Shaab's have their quirks, but are usually very nice/smart horses!

He used to stand in Cornwall!

And i used to look after Deli Windpower pioneer advanced eventer, been round burgley etc. You will find Shaab's own record if you ask weathery's or try a search on racing post on line web site. He was a miler i think and i seem to recall him being trained by Michael Stoute or Henry Cecil or someone of that ilk xx
