My young lad is 22 months and a big black hairy outhouse:) I have yet to find anything that worries him. Heavy traffic, cows, dogs, tractors, not batted an eyelid. Had his first dental visit on monday. Stood there with the gag in and had teeth pretend rasped solid as a rock. I know others probably have youngsters that are fazed by nothing but it constantly surprises me and never fails to put a smile on my face. Pic of the big lad

Wow well done to you!! he must be really happy to have that much trust!

Mine is only 4 and a fiesty little thing, and although she will have the odd funny 5 minutes she goes past most things when 2 other horses, twice her size freak out around her!

no idea how but she became such a brave little leader!!

This is the cutie!

P.s he is stunning!

Mine is about the same - she's 19 months old now and absolutely fearless with everything - donkeys, cows, other horses, cars, dogs, bikes, lorries, tractors, motorway bridges etc

She should make about 15.2ish
Next to my friends 13.2

welll done OP - :) someone told me the most satisfying this is a youngster doing something so simple yet it means the world...

i didnt know what they meant until i got mine;

unphased by trains/cars (she lives next to a train line and used to live next to a motorway), shes worn tack, roller and now started long reining and we can do both reins in walk and a massive circle... really proud of her - shes 3 very late in the year! :)

well done everyone - these youngsters are a PITA but really rewarding :)

mine stands at 14.1 but string test said 15hh - we recon 15.1 max :)

Mine is 21 months old and pretty unflappable, and is pretty much a "dope on a rope" - unless my good friend has come to visit and he turns into a fire breathing dragon who will only have 2 feet on the ground at a time :rolleyes:

They are all lovely:) I can't wait to do abit of desensitising work and obstacle training over the next few months before him and his mates get turned out in the fields away from the farm again. Then he will be back to doing nothing until he's 3. Not going to back him until 4 as he is such a big lad.
