Thank you so much guys :) He managed to put his leg through a gate jesstickle, then sliced the front of his knee on the flat diagonal bar :( Very lucky to escape with just soft tissue injuries. The secondary wound happened when he was left on his own for an hour (2months into box rest) and the pressure bandage slipped down creating a large pressure sore type wound... This was the really problematic one, it kept 'exploding' out and refused to heal. More of his story on the RoR link above :) Thank you xx

My sister's horse has managed to be shortlisted too! He's in the Healthy Heart category, and how he managed to be shortlisted against some of the other horses we have no idea- he's only been out of racing for 18 months! However, he is possibly the most loving and easy-to-do horse we've ever owned and he's definitely an amazing allrounder. Even my mum rides him, and he does everything- he's going to PC camp where he'll do polo, gymkhana games and musical rides and then is doing PC area eventing at BE100 level! :)

^ That's him :) Votes would be muchly appreciated if you think he deserves them

Your horse made an amazing recovery! That must have taken serious hard work :)
