Anyone got any suggestions on a shampoo or anything to get my grey to shine? I've tried so many things over the years, but have never found anything that makes him really "sparkle"!!

Fairy liquid made Rhythms tail sparkle....I'd try the FL then use a whitening shampoo designed for greys as a second wash.

Soak in teetree oil based shampoo, gets all the grease off (it's difficult to make greys shiny I find). Scrub with gallop shampoo for greys.

Gallop shampoo for greys (the blue one) and fairy liquid :) I find baby wipes also help with daily stable stains haha. My grey mare is a bog monster and rarely ever looks grey when she comes in from the field :P

Ages ago I found a shampoo called "Dirty Beastie" it was pink and fantastic. You only needed a small amount and it got rid of all stains imaginable. It was fantastic stuff and gave the coat a wonderful sheen, several rolls later the little man was still coming up gleaming after a quick flick with a dandy brush despite his efforts to be green...

My ex sharer used it all on her pony though and can I find it since can I heckers so if any one does find it let me know where!

shampoo for greys by Gold label, not hugely expensive but brings them up Das white (whiter than white & still at the right price)

made my filth bucket hard on the eyes yesterday in the sunshine without my sunnies on & he lived out all winter unrugged!!
