Hi, can you use human shampoo on horses and if so what would you use? Thanks!

hi, i have used my own shampoo on my horse with no problem, can't remember which one it was, i always buy the ones that are on offer

Yeah i use the cheap apple flavoured ones from morrisons, tesco etc

I use either Herbal Essences or Tesco's Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner, which is like £1 for huge bottles

I use Tesco Value, Its about 40p for a big bottle, last ages and does the job just fine!

Tesco's My Baby's Shampoo. However sayign that i have realised havign bathed 2 of mine the other day, one is tesco and one in horsey shampoo's that the horsey ones are easyier to get the bubbles out of the coat

Yes you can. I usually buy one small bottle of good quality horse shampoo to use occasionally to get rid of all the scurf etc and then buy Tesco's own 'Value' brand to use in between. The Tesco's stuff only costs 27p per litre, compared to horse shampoo at nearly £5 per litre!

I always used to but i think it takes more of essential oils out so i use carr and day gallop colur loads for £8 or whal loads for £4

Boots own Lavender shampoo and conditioner is fabulous.
