If it was something pre-practiced with a suitable horse (like the stunt horses etc) then fine but this feels like a random comment during an interview and it's become a headline.

If they feel they must honour it, maybe a wooden horse can be found.

Genuine question here - do film horses regularly get exposed to the level of noise/lights that somewhere like Glastonbury has?
Oh yes, and a litany of other things that are unimaginable to the average horse and rider. Any horse that has been on a battle scene set will have experienced waaaay more than any concert crowd can throw at it. Think wind machines, walls of fire, ground explosions, gunfire/cannon fire, 100's of shouting extras waving weapons, rain machines, massive lights on stands, rigging scaffolding, dolly tracks & cameras, smoke machine "worms", fake snow machines, etc., etc.

My mare LOVED the local carnival procession, brass bands, floats with wild music and lots of weird and wonderful things. I took her to see it with an escape route at the ready in case it was all too much but nope, she just wanted to get closer and closer. The only thing that she really couldn't weigh up was the little walking princesses in floor length dresses, I mean they were floating along, no legs!! 🤣

I went to a Michael Peace demo at Merrist Wood years ago where we (his audience) were asked to simulate a football crowd. We clapped, shouted and sang to order while he rode and de-sensitised a potential police horse.

Bob is totally up for it , he did stand by the route of the Olympic men's road race and loved every minute of it . afterwards we joined in a peloton of cyclists leaving .Much to their astonishment and bobs delight .Heard a Texan drawl from the crowd, that's one hell of a horse! Totally embarrassed by his friends reply , Yes but that's one hell of a rider! Best compliment for a lifetime of being a nobody in the horse world!
