Ok recommendations for shaped girths?
Fairfax/prolite are not an option due to size.

Was suggested the Harry dabbs waffle one? Anyone tried it?

Thanks!

I've used Harry dabbs waffle girth for a year or so now and really like it, as does my horse, much freer through his shoulder. My saddler comments on what a fab girth it is every time she visits us.

Love the harry dabbs!

was using aerborn atherstone version before hand but this is much better. The only think I would like is for the waffle to 'extend' under the elastic like the aerborn one as am not sure if the join will rub, have ended up with a size bigger for the moment because of this

I guess it perhaps depends on saddle flap/numnah length, I get a bit more numnah depth with my nuumed dead sheep ones than this ecogold one.

Ester thank you!
I was worried that compared to others it didn't seem very shaped!

I really like the saddle company one (which would match saddle) but thought I should try out a shaped one little better on my pocket first!

I was talking to a saddler who fits too and was saying that a lot of people were getting on with them. I have actually had a leather shaped one on frank but he seems to get on with plastic!

My saddler was the one who told me to get one, but then all the pics looked like atherstone ones.

Which leather had you gone with?

I had a derby house one, he ended up bleeding on first ride so it went back! I suspect he'd have been fine in a fair fax ;)

Look up the Prestige RP girth - Arka Equipe can order them for you. I've currently got a Prestige anatomical girth which is good but will get an RP when I have saved up a bit ;-) saw them in action at a clinic and they really are quite interesting and make a big difference!
