shar pei vs greyhound

currently i have a shar pei but want to buy a greyhound, could these two breeds live together?? i went to get a rescue greyhound from battersea but they refused me because i have a shar pei!, i have also had greyhounds before and my shar pei is the kindest dog you could ever meet! any thoughts please!!!

Look around at the hundreds of other greyhounds that need homes.

I would personally do a home check and come and meet you and your dog, I can understand that if a dog such as your breed turned they could do some damage to a slight built dog such as a greyhound so I can see logic in their worry esp if they had not been together from youngsters, as much as she is lovely, if they where left unsupervised and a playfight broke out it could look nasty (Im not saying this would happen) but I would certainly give it thought and have dome in the past, I actually turned a home down for a DDBx to be placed with a shih-tzu for those reasons.

Where abouts are you?, would you have an issues in crating one or the other in the intial introduction/settling in stages stages when they where left unsupervised?
