Whats everyone been up to in this glorious weather?

As i'm cruel and evil I took Bud to a dressage clinic, he worked very well in the heat and is really clicking with dressage now, we are both really enjoying it (:eek:).

He had a lovely shower after and spent the day chillaxing in the field, up extra early tomorrow to get a hack in before the heat (and tourists!) hit!

So what did everyone else do today? :)

I had a driving lesson most of the day :-( bud is such a handsome boy , glad you both enjoyed it :D wish my day had a afternoon hack to round it off :(
 
Had such a wonderful hack :) First time I'd been out (in company) without someone walking due to a lack of confidence. So proud that I've finally built my confidence up enough to hack, and to think 5 months ago I wouldn't get on the horse! Super happy! :D :D
 
I've been working all morning in the heat but now am eating ice cubes (yes I'm that hot!) and catching up with the Apprentice. Tomorrow I'm going up to the pony at about 6pm as its cooler then and the plan is to have a little evening schooling session and then a mini road hack :)

My dog has been ice cubes all day so your not alone ;)
 
Took two teenagers to pony club rally but horses were too hot and ground rock hard and they were so pestered with flies, nice day but would have been nicer if it was cooler.
 
We did a bit of this - thinking he'd like being cooled off, as he was sweating his butt off in the field

Turns out that he actually wanted to be a filthy hog, so he responded by doing this...

Today has been unbearably horse here , got up to 29 degrees so we stopped in with the baby :)
This eve i went and prepped the Welsh boy for his party tomorrow. looking forward to his first outing :)
 
Cortez you win most unsuitable outfit for the weather conditions ;)

Good luck for tomo c&o, hope welshy behaves :)

He's so naughty! I have to take him through the school to get to his field, and he does it every time, wet or dry! Luckily I will never be able to ride him in there, as it is too deep for a horse with fragile suspensories!
 
Gave ex racer girly the day off as she had worked hard at craven country ride on Friday. Took older boy for an early morning hack and he was amazing despite the heat and flies :)
