Hi everyone, this is more for loaning I think than sharing? I used this for a loan ages ago. Is there something more specific to someone sharing my horse 3 days a week please? Sorry, I sound ungrateful!!! THANKYOU x

Not sure about agreements (my owner doesn't have one with me, but we keep in very close touch and she goes up on the days I don't so she actually is better informed/asked in advance than if we'd just written down everythign we could have thought of at the time) but I chose to pay weekly in advance by standing order. So, we're basically very nice and amicable but if I want to/am told to stop sharing suddenly (def not likely to be the case!) I'd be at worst 20 quid out if pocket. So far, so good!

What some yards (and owners!) are careful about is insurance... you might wna to make sure your sharer is a BHS gold member or has some other kind of rider insurance.

PS - didn't mean to encourage you to go without an agreement... although it isn't written down I do ask the owner before doing anything new with share horsey and if you're not always around best to ahve a list of dos/don'ts. Oh, and def make sure sharer has a list of your pref vet/farrier/emergency contacts just in case.
