Sharer/horsey help threads

Tonight i have read several threads on both sides of the horse share coin.

It made me wonder wether a separate forum section could be made where members can post this?

If they were to put "share wanted ******** (area) " or "share offered **area**
It would be very easy to go into that section and search your area.

Arrangements like this rely on the right person to see the right thread and be online at the correct time, this way the threads wont get mixed up in say the New Lounge and disappear where no-one see's them

I think it's a good idea although admin may consider that it's advertising and would take revenue from classified?

Yes, although in theory this would be very helpful i think it would be classed as advertising. I started one of the threads you mentioned, and am considering bumping at a strategic time etc. Which is obviously not ideal as anyone who isn't looking for a sharer is more likely to be irritated than interested!

Incidentally, is there a section for shares offered / wanted in the classifieds? I couldn't find one anyway.

It would come under advertising but they have a free section for items under £500 so there is no reason why they couldn't have a free section for shares.

please can some one confirm if were allowed to do this- I am looking for a sharer- but I dont want to advertise because Im stingy and not paying money for someone else to come and share my babba- they can pay to advertise them selves and ill ring

But really i'm not talking about any other thread than is in New Lounge with no apparent problems??

Saves people like chestnutmare having to find and bump regularly?

More putting the right people in touch as no sale involved.
