Getting to the point where I may have to move my boy if I don't get a cheaper yard.

Taken a job up in London (my job is being made redundant and jobs don't pay what I need near to home) so he can't go on DIY (much as I'd like him to).

Finding the whole thing is stressing me out a bit - after getting divorced and getting rid of debts I can see them piling up again if I'm not careful!

Just want a nice yard that does assisted DIY within 10 miles of Sutton - not much to ask surely! x

ETS - I've even considered a years loan just to get me over this period and allow me to save up, but it's very very hard

I think the first thing to do is look around the area and see what yards are out there. Then make a list of what you NEED, and what you want. See which yard fits best.

Yeah good idea. I have everything on my yard but it costs £470 Part and £650 full

boyfriend wants to buy a place together next year so that's just not going to happen at the moment!

Essential - assisted DIY in week
Outdoor school - floodlight and doesn't flood in winter
Turnout

Not easy finding sharers though -everyone wants to share warmbloods for some reason....stunning liver chestnut Irish TB's that show fantastic dressage and jumping potential are just not flavour of the month anymore!

Liver chestnut...dressage...Sounds perfect to me, but I live east London..if you end up moving yard nearer my way, I'm interested!

I try and ride every day although the band committments mean I can't ride most mondays or saturdays - so the sharer would be also to insured he was exercised as opposed to purely monetary.

Wouldn't really want him too far away....claygate seems ok though - I also need to consider the fact that he's suffering from stiffness in his stable as he's stabled 21 hours a day - def needs more turnout
